Commentary:

Figure (1) above shows US crude oil and condensate production as reported by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).  It reveals that since August 2022, the production of light sweet liquids above 45 API has been steadily increasing.  The decline last December was related to weather conditions in North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Texas.
