Chart of the Day: EU Natural Gas Imports Via Pipeline by Source

Summary

Figure (1) above shows imports of natural gas via pipelines by members of the European Union (EU). Pipeline imports come from five countries: Norway, Algeria, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Libya. 

In General, pipeline imports were relatively stable except in September when demand dropped and Norway embarked on a major maintenance program.
