Chart of the Day: World Oil Trade Declined in the First Half of the Year

Summary

Figure (1) above shows world oil imports (world trade in oil) in the first half of the year vs. the first half of last year.  Imports decreased in January and February, rose significantly in March and April, then declined in May and June.  The bars on the right show the averages.  On Average, imports in the first half of 2024 declined by 151 kbd.
